Here at Orchard Hill, we want to create a place of peace and comfort for you to escape and relax, while forgetting about your day to day stresses. While we believe that our rates are not excessive and try to provide you a good product for the price, we also want to give something back.

A cause that is close to our hearts is Homeless Animals. We currently have two dogs. Both had been dropped off on the local country roads as puppies. This is common in these areas. People have litters of puppies that they don’t want and they bring them out into the country and abandon them on backroads. So we have worked with local groups to provide homes for these abandoned animals.

When many people think about getting a pet for their family, they think about the breed and type of animal that they would like. They then search for a breeder that raises that type and they spend hundreds of dollars for that specific animal. While there is nothing wrong with going this route, these pure breed animals can be very high strung, temperamental and unstable, especially around children.

Why not consider adopting a pet from a local shelter. These animals, while some may be pure breed, represent a full range of various breeds and combinations that produce stable, loveable, and loving pets. Not only will you have a wonderful addition to your family, but you will have helped to save an animals life.

When visiting our home, you will be met by our two dogs with their tails waggin’. Both are dogs that we rescued.
